Many people are looking for ways to make money online and work from home. You might be reading this because you too are searching for ideas to find that right niche to spend your time working in. The reality is that there are many untapped and unproven niches that I am going to just give away right here that you can pursue.

I am going to show you how easy it is. The hard part is implementing the work that is neccassary day in and day out for months before you see profits. That is what most people are unwilling to do. You have to make this happen by taking that plunge and just doing it after you have done the research.

When I think niche, I think specialty.

Like if a man makes and sells shoes, he doesn’t just make any shoe. It may be an Italian leather lady’s high heel 3″ pump or a rattle snakeskin cowboy boots for men. These are his specialties and in the online world of making websites and finding niches, this is called the long tail keyword.

For example, one of my niches is loan modifications and foreclosure help online. Two of my websites, www.LoanSafe.org and www.LoanWorkout.org are very successful in this genre and receive hundreds of thousands of visitors monthly. In 2007, loan modifications were almost unheard of, now the term gets searched thousands of times a day while I enjoy top 1-3 rankings. It was because I was a pioneer online and I saw this niche before anyone else. I then acted on my research with hard work over the last three years and that work has paid off BIG TIME!

The target market I am going after for this blog, Moe Bedard.com is the people who want to work from home and make money online. This is what I do daily and I feel I am qualified to teach others. The facts are that many consumers are getting scammed by unscrupulous webmasters who act like angels, but are devils in disguise. It disgust me that people are ripping down on their luck people off daily online and I plan to expose these scammers.

I plan to dominate this area online by giving out the best information and not screwing people. Simple business plan. The other ingredient I have is my work ethic. I plan to also out work and out smart my competition.

It’s all about the long tail.

If your looking for to build a niche website, you’re going to find it in the long tail. Your not going to start a niche blog about slippers, you’re gonna start a blog on furry fluffy slippers. Your not going to start a forum on cars, you’re going to start one on Honda Civics or Ford Trucks. You have to it narrow down to a two, three or more word long tail target.

Chris Anderson, Editor of Wired Magazine wrote a great book on the long tail called, The Long Tail: Why the Future of Business is Selling Less of More and has a blog that really explores this subject in depth. He goes beyond just the web and into buying habits and search habits of consumers. I really suggest you buy it.

Below I am going to go over some examples of niches and long tails that I know can make money online right now. Please steal them and make them your own. I don’t have time to pursue them.

Maybe you can think of some of your own ideas. The goal here is to get your creative juices flowing so you can zero in on some possible endeavors that are viable to pursue. There is no need to make this rocket science.

The main tools that I am going to use to find a niche are:

http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/

https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

http://www.google.com/

MY GUT

Here are some niches I found that you can expand on or find your own:

Jobs: Lets face it, most people need s job to pay the bills and now more than ever. The economy is terrible and more job searchers are online more than ever. This can be your chance to carve out your own little niche. Here are some examples; jobs in iraq (1980 searches per day), jobs available in my area (1919), babysitting jobs in my area (1706)

Coupons: With the economy is shambles, consumers are looking to save money on anything they purchase. Many people are going online and searching for coupons on almost everything they buy. This can be your chance to get in on the coupon market. Here ares some ideas for you; I’d start a general food coupon super site and list various long tail coupons like kfc coupons online (1569 searches per day), red lobster printable coupons (1553), pizza hut coupons (2100)

Plastic surgery websites: Yes, I think this is easily doable and I have proved it already with some of my own websites. People who have money out there will still get these procedures done and you can be an affiliate to a local plastic surgeon. Heck, maybe they can give you some free plastic surgery for some clients? These are highly targeted websites like plastic surgery fort worth (359 searches a day), face-lift surgery fort worth (140 searches a day), newport beach plastic surgery (149 searches a day). Yes, these numbers are not much ,but if you can build a website for a local doctor and make it rank, he or she can obtain 5 or so clients a month. I think they would gladly pay you hundreds if not a thousands of dollars.

If you do decide to embark on an adventure working online, you better be ready to spend a lot of time building your website with very low expectations at first. Find something that you are passionate about and go for it.

Needed tools and sources:

I am a Wordpress blog fanatic. I am not sponsored by Wordpress or get paid to say that, but I personally feel that their open source content management system (CMS) is the best for search engine optimization and ease of use.

However, I do not recommend getting one of their free blogs on a .wordpress.com URL. It is best to register your own domain at a reliable hosting service such as GoDaddy and then upload the Wordpress software to your domain.

There are many free Wordpress themes that you can find on the Internet and also what they call Premium Themes that you can purchase for relatively cheap. My blog here runs on the Thesis Theme by Chris Pearson. I am stoked with the layout, SEO and clean functions of this theme. Chris first came out with his free and widely popular Cutline theme several years ago and now he has blown away most designers with this highly customizable and search engine friendly theme.

One of the best sources that I use to get information is a blogger who works for Google in the web spam department. His name is Matt Cutts and he is a pretty mellow cat who gives out simple tidbits on creating websites that Google will like and also helping you get ideas to rank your website. His advice is really easy to follow and is exactly the way you should run your website.

Closing thoughts:

The niche you choose needs to appeal to a specific web surfer or marketing segment. The content you create needs to be cost efficient, but also high quality. When you build your website, you will need to try and engage the audience with quality content. If you want to be successful, don’t skimp and lay it all out on the line.

There you have it. This is not really that difficult. You just have to start the process and perform the necessary research to make sure that you can make money in your niche. Then, it is all about working day in and day out to provide quality content so you can dominate your niche for years to come.

If you’re wondering whether or not you can collect unemployment when you resign or quit a job, consider that many before you have had to file for this financial support. Many people work for many years at a company, or even only a few years, and are left in worry and dismay when their employment ends.

While there can be a variety of reasons for the employment termination, the lack of a job presents a problem for people who need the money they take in from work. It happens all over the world.

For this reason, companies set aside a certain amount of their overall revenue to compensate workers who wind up qualifying for unemployment benefits. They are provided by the state and have many variations. If you resign or quit a job voluntarily, your specific situation will delegate whether or not you qualify for unemployment compensation.

Frictional unemployment can be attained by workers moving from one job to another. So, in a sense, if another job is already arranged, someone can collect frictional unemployment to bridge the time gap.

Usually, resigning or quitting a job will not allow for a former member of the work force to gain unemployment benefits.

While it may seem tragic, there must always be a way to keep the wheels of business turning. Quitting a job on your own behalf leaves no recourse for your average employee to collect benefits, as they don’t qualify for unemployment in the first place.

Unemployment is most often reserved for circumstances that are out of the worker’s control. For example, an industry change makes a great majority of the employees of a company obsolete. If a company is still allowing an employee his/her job, and he/she leaves because of personal circumstances, then unemployment benefits will have no possible involvement in their income.

An employee who is resigning, or quitting, their job should line up a second position with a reputable company before leaving their original job. This will allow for the possibility of frictional unemployment to be available to the workers who are simply switching jobs.

Medical billing and work at home jobs can serve as a temporary or long term solution to a financial crisis. Easily, a motivated writer can produce enough original content to provide a substantial living for themselves.

On average, a writer with a moderate typing speed and strong grasp of the English language can produce around 5000 words per day. Sometimes more, sometimes less, is possible depending on the abilities of the writer in question.

Medical billing companies are not outside the scope of reality as a possible administrative position. While there are not nearly as many positions and tasks available as people think, some people do make a fair amount of money working from home as a medical billing assistant. A high typing speed and proficient skill in the use of medical billing software is critical to attaining the position. It takes a moderate amount of overall computer skills to qualify for the job.

There are other work at home positions available to people who possess the required motivation and skill it takes to succeed. Paid to Read email sites that are legitimate can provide a substantial income if a sizeable down line can be generated. Article writing provides the highest level of opportunity and quickest income generation available on the Internet today.

There are many people in the work at home forums that provide work for people who can complete the tasks with quality and efficiency. You are only limited by the amount of time you have to spend and your abilities as a writer. The articles you create will revolve around the content requests you receive. You are usually instructed to write about a specific topic or subject of interest.

Article writing represents a reasonable moneymaker and is an incredible learning experience..There are also items you can create at home to sell at auction sites like Ebay. Water and milk kefir grains are all the rage, and sell for an incredible amount per tablespoon on Ebay.

You can sell the grains you produce at an astonishing $10 dollars/tablespoon. The best part is, the more people who sell the grains the bigger the market becomes. Good luck!

Unemployment can happen for a variety of reasons. Because life itself is varied, lived in many different ways, and comprised of a work force that requires financial compensation for periods of unemployment, there are a multitude of reasons why someone could become unemployed.

The reasons for becoming unemployed should not, and can not, be consciously implicated into an effort to collect unemployment benefits. At least not legally!

The many reasons for someone’s unemployment can include: Sickness, financial problems, personal issues, problems with the work place, or irresponsibility. There are many more reasons, but those are some of the most commonly reported.

The reason someone becomes unemployed is not nearly as important as the way to get back on track. Being part of a brand new work force is scary, and this has caused some employees to quit within a few weeks of getting hired.

Unemployment has some dangerous implications, both financially and socially. It puts people in a bad position and unable to live up to one of life’s greatest expectations: To have gainful employment and build the best life they can for themselves. The main reason many people are still unemployed is that the demand for jobs and being part of a work force has prompted a great number of employees to refine their skills to a higher level. This locks in their position as a valued part of the economy and allows the possibility of further advancement.

Sometimes, people become unemployed because they get hurt at their job, sustain an injury, or become physically disabled. This prevents them from completing their work efficiently and quickly leads to employment difficulties. An injury sustained on the job, however, can lead to unemployment with benefits. This can be crucial to someone who relies on the work force for survival. Benefits can be short or long term and last however long it takes to find a new job or other form of financial provisions.

The reasons for someone’s unemployment can also affect whether or not an employee will be able to find a new job, or be eligible for benefits when changing jobs.

Things don’t look good on Main Street. To tell you the truth, it is looking terrible. The near future looks even worse and honestly, I feel that we are in the middle of a great depression.

I operate a forum over on a website called LoanSafe.org. It is a blog, forum and informational website that helps people who are having mortgage and debt problems. My website has been in operation since 2007. My website traffic is picking up and I have over 27,000 members.

The facts are that this tells me that the mortgage crisis is gaining momentum, not abating. Foreclosures are increasing as I see more and more once very financially able Americans go broke as they become jobless. Many are simply walking away from their homes, mates and past lives. The stories are increasing, not decreasing.

They are sad stories. Ones that make me cry and wonder why?

God, it is not looking good. Yes, the earth, my children, my wife and life is beautiful. But the situation that my fellow brothers and sisters are in is looking dire God. What can I do to help? How can I do my part to reach those souls that need to be spoken to?

You better get ready or else. That is all I hear. Nothing else. I do not claim to communicate with God, but that is what comes to my mind when I think of those that may read my words. I am not sure if anyone visits this blog at the moment.

But if you are reading my words, get ready. However, it is certainly not all doom and gloom. Well, at least for those that are prepared and take heed to my words or are already on this thinking path.

This is a time like never before in the history of our world. A moment that will make or break millions in a very short time period. A massive depression that will literally wipe out millions of people financially and mentally. That is why they call these events great depressions.

So, here we sit. You and me. What are you gonna do now? I’ll tell you what I’m gonna do. I’m going to work my ass off on these websites. I’m gonna work harder than I ever have in my life.

You see, I lease my home, but I own my websites. The reality is that the work I have put into them has paid me well lately. In fact, they are kicking ass in this terrible economy where million are losing their jobs. They are my real estate and they are recession proof because I built them smart. I am building more too. I can’t stop. This is my calling and what pays my bills.

What’s going to pay your bills in the future? Hopefully you know the answer to that question.

What are you going to do? You better start thinking of ways to make money. Legit ways to work from home and live a great lifestyle can be had by you. Look at me. I am know one special. I dropped out of high school at 17. I am a former alcoholic and drug addict. I have been in prison. The deck was stacked against me just as much as anyone. Statistics show that I should have failed, but I didn’t. The reason I am telling you this is because if you feel you have it bad, I most likely had it worse. But now I am OK. You will be too. But only of you act and be proactive in building a future now.

I’m a fighter and I don’t give up. Yes, I get knocked down, but I get up and keep charging. Searching for the light and answers to my problems. Maybe you can do the same?

All I know is, you better get ready or else. I tell you this because I care. Hopefully my words and blog may help you through this time if you are one who is suffering right now. I wish you all the best.

There are many domain registrars out there that promise the world and don’t deliver. I know because I have been with quite a few of them. Below the video I will go over some other thoughts and information to help you on your quest.

One company that has really served me well over the years and has went out of their way to please me is Godaddy.com. They are the top hosting and domain registering company in the world. Yes, I do have some issues at times, but for the most part they have been very easy to deal with. They even have assigned me an account executive because I am a bigger account. So, that is nice to get even better service when you are a busy webmaster like me.

I want to disclose to you that I am not an affiliate or make no money in mentioning GoDaddy. This is just my “personal” preference for a hosting and domain registrar because I am simply happy with the support they offer.

Here are some other companies that you can check out and see which one is best for you. These are some of the better know firms:

The chief executive officer of a payment processing company will be banned from the business as part of a settlement resolving Federal Trade Commission charges that the company illegally debited millions of dollars in bogus charges from consumers’ bank accounts.

In 2007, the FTC charged the executive, Tarzenea Dixon, her company, and others with processing unauthorized debits on behalf of deceptive telemarketers and Internet-based schemes they knew, or deliberately avoided knowing, were violating the FTC’s Telemarketing Sales Rule. In addition, the attorneys general of Illinois, Iowa, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, and Vermont charged the defendants with violating various state laws.

According to the FTC complaint, the company played a critical role in helping many of its clients carry out these illegal schemes by providing access to the banking system and the means to extract money from consumers’ bank accounts. Between June 23, 2004, and March 31, 2006, the defendants processed more than $200 million in debits and attempted debits. More than $69 million of the attempted debits were returned or rejected by consumers or their banks for various reasons, an indication that in many cases consumers had never authorized the charges. In many instances, the merchants either failed to deliver the promised products or services or sent consumers relatively worthless items.

The settling defendant is Tarzenea Dixon. Her co-defendants are Your Money Access, LLC d/b/a Netchex Corp., Universal Payment Solutions, Check Recovery Systems, Nterglobal Payment Solutions, and Subscription Services, Ltd.; YMA Company, LLC; and Derrelle Janey. In addition to permanently banning Dixon from any payment processing, the settlement order bans her from substantially aiding any marketer when she knows, or consciously avoids knowing, that it is violating the Telemarketing Sales Rule. The order imposes a $22 million judgment that is stayed based on her inability to pay. The full judgment will become due immediately if she is found to have misrepresented her financial condition.

The Commission vote approving the consent in settlement of the court action against Dixon was 4-0. The FTC filed the documents in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania on December 22, 2009, and court entered the order on January 11, 2010.
Litigation against Janey continues. On October 28, 2008, the court entered a default judgment against the corporate defendants, Your Money Access, LLC and YMA Company, LLC, barring them from payment processing for any client whose business practices are deceptive, unfair, or abusive within the meaning of the FTC Act, the Telemarketing Sales Rule, and the state consumer protection laws. The case was part of the FTC’s “Operation Tele-PHONEY” telemarketing fraud law enforcement sweep announced in May 2008.

Wachovia Bank Redress Program

In December 2008, the FTC announced a settlement between the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and Wachovia Bank, N.A. to issue more than $150 million in redress checks to victims of telemarketing fraud. The checks reimbursed consumers for funds deducted from their accounts by three payment processors that maintained accounts with Wachovia, including Your Money Access.

NOTE: Stipulated final judgments and orders are for settlement purposes only and do not constitute an admission by the defendants of a law violation. Consent judgments have the force of law when signed by the judge.

A U.S. district court judge has ordered a halt to the illegal practices of an Internet services company that crammed unauthorized charges onto the telephone bills of thousands of consumers and small businesses for services they never agreed to buy. At trial the Federal Trade Commission will ask the court to halt the practices permanently and force the defendants to give up their ill-gotten gains.

The FTC charged that Inc21 and its affiliated companies sold Internet services, including Web site design services, Web site hosting, Internet directory listings, search-engine advertising and Internet-based faxing, for charges ranging from $12.95 to $39.95 a month.
The FTC alleged that the defendants hired off-shore telemarketers to call prospective clients.
Sometimes the telemarketers offered a free trial, without explaining that consumers would have to take certain steps to avoid charges. In other cases the telemarketers said they simply were calling to verify their business contact information.

The FTC alleges that Inc21 used third-party billing aggregators, to place charges on the phone bills of thousands of consumers and businesses that either:
* were never contacted at all;
* were told they were contacted only to verify business information;
* declined Inc21′ s offer of Internet services; or
* were told they would receive a free trial offer, but not informed that they would be charged if they did not cancel.

In papers filed with the court, the FTC charged that Inc21 and its agents supposedly made tape recordings to demonstrate that its charges were authorized. But the FTC alleged that in many cases, the recordings were doctored to misrepresent the call and the consumers’ responses. In other cases, the voices on the tapes are not those of the consumers who were supposedly on the calls.

The FTC charged the defendants with unfair and deceptive acts, in violation of the FTC Act and the Telemarketing Sales Rule.

District Court Judge William Alsup issued a Temporary Restraining Order, and then a Preliminary Injunction to halt the unlawful conduct, pending trial. In his Order, Judge Alsup wrote, “It was Inc21 who orchestrated this overall scheme and set in motion an army of telemarketers who committed fraud. Even if Inc21 did not approve of the fraud (and it seems likely that it did approve), the fact remains that Inc21 is responsible for organizing this engine of fraud and reaping its profits. As such, Inc21 may certainly be held accountable and the engine of fraud may be shut down by court order.”

The defendants named in this matter are Inc21.com Inc., doing business as Inc21, Inc21.net, Inc21 Communications, Global YP, NetOpus, Metro YP, JumPage Solutions, GoFaxer.com and Fax Faster.com, Jumpage Solutions, Inc., GST U.S.A., Inc., Roy Yu Lin and John Yu Lin officers and directors of Inc21. The FTC complaint also names Sheng Lin, the father of Roy and John Lin, as a “relief defendant” because he allegedly received funds that can be traced to the deceptive and unfair practices, and has no legitimate claim to those funds.

The FTC received invaluable assistance in this matter from the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and IRS-Criminal Investigations Division.

The Commission vote to authorize staff to file the complaint was 4-0. The complaint was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California in San Francisco.

NOTE: The Commission files a complaint when it has “reason to believe” that the law has been or is being violated, and it appears to the Commission that a proceeding is in the public interest. The complaint is not a finding or ruling that the defendant has actually violated the law. The case will be decided by the court.

If you are a business owner that has started a new website to advertise your products, it is very important to know how to accept credit payments from your customers. This will open up a whole new market of potential clients, because being able to accept these type of payments will make it that much easier to shop your business. Even if you own a retail store, it is extremely important you do this. This is a huge step in becoming a successful owner!

There are many advantages that come along with having this service available on your website. Just think about it, there will be some people that come to your site that may want to purchase your product right then and there! If they are looking to do this, being able to accept credit cards can secure the deal. By if only having payments available by check or money order, you may find many customers losing interest because of the hassle and extra time it will take to write the check, mail it, and then process the payments.

Also you may be able to attract international consumers as well. By being able to process payments straight from your site, it will be a tremendous convenience for customers that are located overseas. Currency will not be an issue, as it will automatically be taken care of, and there will be no need to worry about how long the payment will take to arrive. If you cannot accept online payments you will lose many potential oversea customers!

Now that you know some advantages of this, it is time to get set up. First you will need to decide whether you want to set up a merchant account with your local bank, or go through a third party service that will accept the payments for you in exchange for a fee.

With a merchant account you will need to go to a bank and set up an account. The set up fee is typically higher then if using a third party, but the average transaction fee is much cheaper using your own account. But it is important to know that with this you will be the one processing the payments yourself.

Using a third party is a good choice for individuals who are not too sure whether or not their business will be a success, especially for new business owners. This will allow time to see how the products are selling, and is very convenient because the third party will be taking care of the transactions for you. There are tons of third party merchants you will find right here on the internet. Paypal is an excellent and very reputable third party merchant that many people tend to choose.

Whether you choose to set up our own account or go through a third party service, being able to accept credit card payments is a major step to becoming a successful business owner.

You must be one of those people who are looking to live the dream of a home based business working for Google. In this article I am going to give you the low down and tips to chase your dreams like me.

In searching for new opportunities, I am sure you have come across these ads that are everywhere on the internet and even in classified print promising fast money online working for one of the top 10 companies in the United States. They make claims like, “FREE, Just Pay Shipping & Handling,” “Use Google to Make 1000s of Dollars!” or “Easy Cash with Google: You Could be Making up to $978 a Day Working from Home!”

The facts are that most all these offers are SCAMS!

As a matter of fact, Google recently made a public announcement warning consumers about these schemes and sued several companieswho were falsely promoting these fraudulent offers. The FTC has also went on the attack against these crooks taking advantage of down on their luck people.

However, with that said, there are definitely ways to make money working “with” the big G. I know because I actually work from home and receive checks from Google every month. What I am going to share with you on my personal blog is not a scam or BS. This is the real deal. So, please bookmark my website or visit here often for legitimate opportunities to make money online.

Here are the three ways to work with the big G:

AdSense program for internet publishers and webmasters that allows independent websites to place ads on their websites.

Google affiliate programthat allows internet marketers the ability to sell products through their affiliate online sales program.

Google Jobs is their official employment website where you can search for jobs that may be located all over the world and most are in an office. But, if you are lucky you can find a job working from home.

For example, you can go straight to their official employment website and type into the search bar in the upper right hand corner, “work from home.” This is what I found when I did that:

Ads Quality Rater – Spanish Language:

OK, I had only found one opportunity to make money online here. I assume that these will be competitive jobs and you will have to be on your toes to land one of the opportunities. But don’t let that get your hopes down. I am going to cover some other ways you can follow your dreams.

Let’s first cover the way I make money online working with the Big G.

Please keep in mind that I just said I “work with” and not “work for” Google. The way I do this is through there AdSense advertising program that is open to pretty much any internet publisher or webmaster who operates a blog and or website.

This advertising revenue sharing program has literally changed my life. I signed up in June of 2009 with them for my websites LoanSafe.org and LoanWorkout.org. Immediately my income increased significantly from what I was collecting from my then current advertisers. No longer did I have to chase checks or my next banner sale, Google now was taking care of this. Now, I can create and focus on producing contents as opposed to being a salesman or advertising manager.

Let me add that the money I receive from Google allows me to work from home full time, a home on five acres of land with a pool in Southern California and support my wife and five children. I am at every meal with my kids, life events and I call my own shots. It is the life I have always dreamed of and this is all happening in a down economy. So, I am very happy working with the Big G and I want the world to know that if I can do it, you can do it!

There are quite a few other webmasters who are successful like me using the AdSense advertising platform. Some have been quoted making upwards of a million dollars a month. For example, Marucs Frind, CEO of PlentyofFish.com was quoted on the internet to make almost a million dollars a month with his popular dating website. You can read more about Marcus in Inc. Magazine hereand below is a copy of a check he received from the Big G. Yes, that is over $900,000!!

Other website owners like Tim Carter of AsktheBuilder.com are very successful using Google AdSense. In this official case study, Tim’s income went from $10,000 to more than $30,000 per month.

Tim’s AdSense revenues now average $1400 a day and growing. Overall, Carter is enthusiastic about AdSense: it allows him to focus on content development, and gives him built-in tools to measure ad performance and make changes to maximize revenues. “People come to me for help,” says Carter. “They get what they need from my columns and advice – and also from ads delivered by AdSense.”

As you can see from the information that I provided above, it is possible to work from home and make money online with Google. However, there are no get rich tips or special website videos I can give you to help you make money fast. It takes research, time, hard work and some luck to become successful online. But as I have mentioned before, if I can do this, you can do it.

I am no one special. I dropped out of high school at 17 and have had a life of many hard knocks. I am a doer and when I get knocked down, I get back up. You have to do the same. Every day must be spent learning and working on your future.
